Hours, seconds, minutes were so very fast realizing that my blog is already 1 year.  I am still reminiscing my Dragon years of what I am suppose to be grateful about only to realized that it was my second time to travel in another country which is Asia and during that time I am with my parents. Unlike in USA I was only with my brother and my aunt. Hoping that someday I could travel with my boyfriend both local and foreign country while we are not yet married. Of course we both want to experience travelling while we are still in relationship. Another thing that I am grateful during Dragon years was when I am given the opportunity to become a graphic wherein I could use my creativity, being innovative and resourceful in terms of layout design. So far even my salary is not that enough then I am still earning and can save. I was invited to attend the IMG where I can learn on how to invest money because I was referred by my high school classmate. I haven't planned to enroll but at least I would still want to bring with me of what I've learned during the seminar. Though the problem is I didn't apply it 100% due to other expenses which is the wants and needs. Hard to promise but I am still careful for it. Remembering the times that I became fanatic of watching London Olympics which indeed I am waking up early in the morning around 2:00 am to watch the swimming competition and I was able to follow the achievements of Michael Phelps which indeed he really inspires me as a swimmer that makes me think if I should go back to swimming for me to enhance my skills. Sometimes I feel that my life is still boring even if I am working which is I honestly could tell that I am still longing for something else of what is new and discovering some other ventures that I really want to try. Nevertheless I am grateful enough that I am still with my supportive, respectful, loving boyfriend who is also my mentor and a confidant with all my decisions. Our relationship keeps stronger as he is always positive for me by the times that I am being weak. There were no end of the world but only the heavy traffic that ruins me during that day but at least I still survive. 

The Great Holiday Toy Sale

Are you always excited to go shopping so that you can buy gifts especially to your godchildren? Have you reminisced or even missed your childhood days when you are buying toys at any amazing toy store like Toy Kingdom? How do you plan your gift for your godchildren, nephews, nieces or other children? How do you also budget it? Are you a person who is willing to wait for the sale at any toy stores? 

    Usually when I am passing by the Toy Kingdom I am taking time to look for the toys to think what can be my gift for my godchildren and how can I save budget. So as I've already plan my target expenses for the gifts then I've also listed down the things that I am going to give for my godchildren including nephews and nieces. Just because I am trying my best to save budget then I've already bought the other things at the regular price as long as I can afford it. But that is not the case that happened because while browsing on facebook on Friday morning I've seen the announcement that there will be up to 70% off on selected items at Toy Kingdom I was excited about it. Since the place was in the hall of SMX I am thinking otherwise if I should still go there even if I've already bought the things for the kids. The date of sale was only limited for 3 days so I find it really hard if I am going to continue going there on the day itself. I am also thinking if I should go there on the first day or last day because I am also worried for the last day because I doubt it if I can still buy good quality toys that are in the lower prices. Finally I am decided that I want to buy another gifts to have another chance of choosing the good items at lower price so after my office hours from Makati I just go straight ahead to Mall of Asia. As I entered the SMX there were many people buying there already but at least it is not crowded. I could imagine what would that be by tomorrow and on the last day if I am going to buy there. I could assume that it is already crowded and maybe I won't have any chance to buy good items that are discounted. More so I was overwhelmed with the wonderful toys or items I've seen that is why my gift plans were changed as I've seen the other toys or items that I want to give for my nephews and nieces.  First I just picked up the toys then later on I am going to decide if I should avail it or not because it depends on my target budget too. 

      I have this thought as well if I can already buy good Winnie the Pooh doll for my nephew Apollo just because he really looks like him. Ever since it was my dream plan to give him a doll of Winnie the Pooh but I have no chance because it was really expensive at regular price which indeed I can't really afford to buy it. That is why I started to find the doll if any chance and even asked for it. I saw the stall where I found there is Winnie the Pooh doll so I went there but when I saw the dolls I am not that satisfied with it because not all qualities were good. The other dolls are not in good proportion and yet even the price is already discounted I can't still afford to buy it. I saw the one Winnie the Pooh doll that is in good proportion and very soft that is totally huggable but the problem there is it was dirty on the face that can be obviously seen and seems like it was written like a crayon or any other blackpens. I can't decide if I should still get it because that couldn't be worth for the price due to its discrepancy. The Toy Kingdom employee told me she can give it for Php 600 but then I still have this second thought of availing. I got the chance to ask more discount as Php 500 because of the discrepancy, at first the employee was hesitated then she asked permission and good thing they agreed on it so that I can have it. Before that due to my hesitation as well to get it I just called Melynn (sister-in-law) if there is chance if the doll can still be cleaned, so she told me it can be still bring it to the dry clean and there is chance. That is the time I already availed the Winnie the Pooh doll because that is the only opportunity to buy the supposed to be the expensive doll which is Php 2000 and original quality. If I am not going to do that then I am thinking and worried as well for more Winnie the Pooh dolls that it has possibility to increase such as Php 3000 which is I can't afford it more and more.
  

    While roaming around with the Winnie the Pooh doll to search for other gifts then someone asked me if how much did I availed for the Winnie the Pooh doll, so of course I told her that is just Php 500 though I realized if she will be going to that stall if the staff will do the same and she will be asked if how come in my case as I was given lower price. Well not my problem already but at least I am done. The other employee from another stalls even told me there is dirt. I just ignore it or I told him that is just low price.

       Roaming around again to see the other items or if I haven't found other things to buy at any chance. I saw the face towels of Snoopy that is just Php 25 each which is not bad for the gift. I availed it because I can suggest it to Edge (my boyfriend) that he can give to his godchildren since he has no idea on what to give and he has no time for shopping due to his busy schedules. I just gave him help and he appreciated it.

       My decision is already final that I want to go home and my shopping cart is enough. I just deducted the other toys or materials to save my budget. The lines were long but I am sure that is not yet the longest line that I encountered. After paying I took the cab going home and excited to give the doll to Apollo my nephew. By the time I am already at home I gave the doll to Apollo already and he was overwhelmed with smile on his face. He even talked to the doll and hugged it to the fullest like his long lost brother, he also slept with the doll. The other day his mom told me that he even picked the book and read story of Winnie the Pooh to that doll. Finally my dream of giving Apollo the doll was accomplished.

Featuring the Abusive House Helper and Sister In Law about Kasambahay Bill of Failon Ngayon

Excitement with overwhelming experience for people in the house that some members of our family including the house helpers were exposed on air  at  Failon Ngayon that is being aired every Saturday at 5:00 in the afternoon. The Kasambahay Bill episode was featured on December 8, 2012. We were all tuning in during that time before the birthday party was held on that day itself. Exposing on the air is usually an accomplishment by other people even for seconds, minutes or day. Some may call it as "Instant Artista" for fun. 

My valuable plate became celebrity 

   Not on the whole details of what I've heard from the maid that she is asking permission from my parents that she will be going to be interviewed by abs cbn network, I have no idea yet what is that all about.  As I understand the brother of my sister in law asked permission from the maid if she can be featured about Kasambahay Bill because he has a friend who is searching for people that can be interviewed about this topic. I just have no idea if when they are going to plan for the interview from the abs-cbn network. 

CJ and Apollo is on the air 

  Scheduled to be half day in the office on December 4 Tuesday since I am going to attend my mother's event which was Tribute to Retirees in De La Salle University. As I went home I am a bit surprised that there was a media interviewing the maid on our stairs but I knew it that it was about the Kasambahay Bill topic. I can't use the front door for me to enter the house but the other side which was the sliding door wherein I can't be seen by the camera. There was a meal of Chowking being prepared on the table as part of our meal for lunch. Some of them are already done eating and I am the only one who is not yet eating. When it was my sister in law's turn for the interview, I've heard that she is giving Php 5000.00 to the maid who was interviewed and that is the time that I knew it since I have no idea about their salary. I am sure that is inclusion of that maid's education. I thought my mom will be interviewed as well but then she is already preparing on what to say to the extent that she wants to mention everybody LOL! I wasn't able follow the whole details of the shoot but then I've seen on the video that there will be some segments where we can also see Apollo and CJ on air that they are playing on the ground with their nanny. I am excited about it and of course I want to see Apollo and CJ to be exposed on air. 

      I am sure that the segment of my sister in law and their maid is about the positive side of being a maid to an employer. They were asked about their opinion regarding Kasambahay Bill if they think this could be necessary especially the benefits. When the Failon Ngayon is being advertised there are some segments that are being exposed including the maid who were interviewed, my niece and nephew including their nanny, they became very excited about it like yelling.

UPDATE!

The house helper interviewed by Failon Ngayon was TERMINATED by employer for being ABUSIVE HOUSE HELPER. Her employer helped her finance her studies to accomplish her dreams to be a Teacher. Unfortunately after giving what she wants, she already revealed her true attitude and personality in which far from being educated. All of us are totally SHAME of her obscenity and manners we don't have an idea that she would only take advantage the humility of other people to her. So beware of her because she is a back stabber, gold digger, trouble maker, and will flirt the married and taken men to grab attention and to ruin the relationship of other people. 

BDJ FAIR 2012: Limitless! Be a Power Bella!

How do you define yourself as a BELLA? I believe we have our own ways to be a Bella inside and out, it can be appreciated by other people but it doesn't mean that we need to please them. Being yourself, living your life to the fullest, always positive and if you know how to appreciate small and simple things can be secrets to be more Bella. Are you open minded enough to listen from the advises of the successful people who are willing to help you? Then BDJ Fair was a perfect venue to learn life lessons on how to be confident, positive, more practical, save money, and to become successful as many people dream. 

Finally I was able to attend the BDJ Fair and it was my first time because of the advantage that the venue was in Mall of Asia which is just near to the place I am living. Unlike before, I remember the venue was usually in Eastwood. So as much as I am attempting or planning to go at BDJ Fair even if that is far then it is just being cancelled due to other schedule. Since my boyfriend is having his vacation in Dipolog City I've decided to go here at Belle De Jour Fair alone because this is my chance to experience the event that makes me really feel of being a certified or a loyal Bella wherein I can also with other Bellas. Aside from that I really have to admit that I am also hoping to win or get something which indeed it became true.

Lining up at 10:00 am with the other Bella peeps and getting ready for the event at the Music Hall of Mall of Asia. Seeing the fascinating set up of the venue makes me more excited to enter. I have no hesitations of availing the VIP Charity Pass because that is important for you to attend the programs or talk that can be lead by the fabulous people. After my registration I've started already the activities which indeed I have no idea yet of where to start, what to do, or how it works. Then I've decided to play with the Subic Grandseas Resort  popping the balloon which unfortunately I wasn't able to make it but then I was able to shoot the ball on the hole where the "Breakfast for 2" was indicated. At first I thought I am going to win what is indicated but then I was just given a pencil which is not bad at least I have my souvenir. Beside that booth I joined the pick the prize but unfortunately it was an "oops sorry". I went to the Goody booth just to have the rubber as part of my souvenir. I have no plans and other idea of what do I really want to do. Since there were 4 activities that are indicated but then I am hesitated to do the others like bunjee jumping and wall climbing since I am not into it. Though I've already seen the long lines for the Tarot Booth and Photo shoot, I didn't bother first to make it. The next thing I did was to fall in line to claim the loot bags. Wow it was heavy because of the magazines and at least I have another souvenir items with lots of freebies. While falling in line for the C2 booth to claim an item or freebies there was a bella who approached me and asked if I will use the Bungee jumping, since I am not into it I shared it already so that her companion can play it. Good thing somebody uses it even not on my case. At least I was able to help a little bit. While roaming around I saw the Ace and Water Spa of having a game. I have chosen to shoot the ball for the tumbler which indeed it was successful although I haven't notice there was a privilege card so again I regretted another opportunity which I believe I can still do that. Of course I really wanted to have discounts for spa, but then at least I have another souvenir item that I just got it for free. I have no plans to avail or buy any products on this BDJ Fair even the planner itself because of lacking budget as of the moment. Since I have my financial goal for next months or year I am really controlling myself to spend that much.

After taking lunch that is the time I entered for the program which was the Bloggers Extraordinaire so I am getting ready to attend for the first time in talk. Patty Laurel and Tricia Gosingtian were the one who had their segment during the program by sharing their experiences about blogging. However as for Patty Laurel she shared more her experiences regarding the travel such as saving the budget, proper ethics, how to value your memorable experiences, and of course how to enjoy your moment without regrets. Here are the things that I will never forget and learned from Patty Laurel.

There are many ways to be practical when you are traveling. It doesn't have to be luxurious or you have to be rich for you to wander. Browsing the forums and blogs can be advantage in order for us to know the reviews about the places.

Show your pride as a Filipino when you are in other countries. This is because there are other people especially our countrymen that usually transform themselves like the way they speak or acting like they are despising our own nation just because they came from other country. This is actually true as part of bragging where they came from. The point is we have to represent and introduced ourselves as a Filipino to the other nation because it is our chance to be proud of ourselves.

Respect the culture of other people and know their differences. We must also follow the rules and regulations.

We still have to enjoy and feel the moment by not spending much in taking pictures. Chances are there are other important things that you will miss just because we are so busy in taking pictures.

We can be proud that we were able to tour in another country but not to the extent that we are supposed to brag it especially with our friends. Just keep in mind that not all people can have the opportunity to travel. So be considerate, instead we must inspire them and motivate them on what to do so that they can travel without spending that much.

I am glad on how Patty Laurel delivers her message that people became attentive and listened to her all the time. She speaks lively so expect it that we never get bored.

Tricia Gosingtian shared with us the tips in blogging. I like her message and I trust her credibility in giving advises especially in terms of proper ethics when it comes to blogging or how to be a responsible blogger. But honestly since because she is naturally "mahinhin" when she speaks. Chances are people were not so attentive to her. There are some people who are already talking to each other that are obviously not paying attention to her. Good thing I still listened to her because I believe what she was talking about was very interesting. I learned from Tricia that we are not supposed to put music on blog because it is the content that is important to attract not the music. We must put a good graphics so that it can also attract other people. The good thing about Tricia is that she told people that we are not supposed to put any offensive content that attacks other people. In her case she is not doing that, more so that is what she is avoiding.

We took our break and since that is the end of their segment I've decided to roam around again to seem where I can line up. Since it is already 3:30 in the afternoon expect it that there were so many people already lining up in different games. I joined the game in Garnier but then again unfortunately I wasn't able to win the game.

While lining up for another game I saw Georgina Wilson on stage to talk about the maintenance of beauty. She didn't talk alone as what the other guests did, it was like interview of the host to her then she has to answer it. I just find it fair but still beautiful. I captured pictures of her to have remembrance because she is considered as well known model even if she is not an actress and for a fact that she is the best friend of Anne Curtis who is a well known actress in our local industry. Even though I am not a fan of her, I still find interesting to see her in person.

When I entered the area to wait for another segment which was the Life Lesson, while waiting for the time of talk there was a raffle draw again wherein they are announcing the winners. Finally my name was called and I got a prize from City Delivery which was drinks and P100 certificate. I felt so lucky for being one of the winners. Though I felt envy for those who won the P1000 certificate of Parisian because I also like their bags and shoes plus the fact that I can also use the SM advantage if I am going to avail it from the department stores.

My expectations in life lesson segment surprises me on how PJ Lanot inspired and motivated us to love our work because if you feel that way of course you won't feel that you are working but you are just playing. Being passionate on the things that you are doing is a big advantage. More so the life of Monday is not an issue as we tend to be irritated every Sunday night because we all know what is next after that day. PJ Lanot introduced himself that he is a voice actor, host for some events, and he owns restaurant which is the Pipino. PJ told us everything about his profession that he have done before and even his recent. As a voice actor he is responsible to beautify or can make the voice of the actors as handsome for commercials. He is the voice over for John Lloyd Cruz in Clear and Gerald Anderson for the commercial of Modess wherein Kim Chiu was his partner. PJ also discovered that he can be also a host that can make it alive wherein people can enjoy and can make their day as complete during the event. There was a time that he have hosted a debut because he found out that the supposed to be host wasn't that alive instead he was nervous and not used to it. PJ paid P8000.00 for that supposed to be host. So imagine P8000.00 is still consider as huge amount for 1 day payment then I could imagine that new host was acting like still on the training? Isn't that is not worth? I can't also imagine that PJ has his huge heart to pay that large amount just to be a substitute for that supposed to be the host. Then he has the sincerity to make the event or special day alive. I could imagine that the debutant was lucky and sure that her special moment had been completed because of how PJ delivered himself as a host during event. I also learned from PJ that if your goal to be successful you can't just do that alone, you must have a team or partner to help you succeed. In his case he told us that he doesn't know how to cook but he wants to have restaurant so he finds someone who can cook which was his friend. Surprisingly he introduced us his restaurant which was Pipino, the venue where my boyfriend used to plan that we want to dine in there on his birthday because it was all about being vegetarian. That is the time I realized that his name was quite familiar to me since I've read that on magazine where Joseph Marco was the cover of that issue.

After attending the programs I am now having second thought if I should go home or still line up for the Tarot Card. Since the line wasn't that too long compare in the afternoon, I already took the opportunity for me to try it. But still I had been waiting for at least more or less 1 hour before my turn. It came to the point that some of the fortune tellers were having break. I am already seeing them tired so I am wondering if they will still want to talk and give advises with sincerity. Though I've heard that some of them are telling the client to ask 3 questions that is why I really prepared for it of what should I asked if it is already my turn. When it is already my turn the teller asked me to pick one card. That teller told me that I don't have a boyfriend and why is it so? I am sad just because I am single. I just laughed and told her that our relationship is still strong, but then she still insisted that we are always fighting so it will soon be ending up. LOL! I didn't took that seriously. Then she already asked me to give some questions. So first I asked if I would be that successful especially in terms of sports or animation, it could be slightly that will accomplish especially in animation. I must just expect that it won't run a progress straight that sometimes it could be postponed but still it will be in good status. Next please! if I have a chance to travel around the world. That is still possible but there are times it would stop because of my health concerns. Then the last one would be something to do with my health if I can do something for me to survive. There could be a problem because I would be affected due to my partner. That thing intimidates me a little bit because he is a smoker, LOL when I told my partner regarding this I told him that thing is believable because of him that he hasn't stop smoking. It motivates me more to prevent him from smoking. Overall I won't still take the word from the fortune teller because I believe I should be the one who will create my own fate. In order for me to avoid some worst circumstances I have to be more responsible and positive for myself.

Finally I am bringing home with learning, being motivated and inspired because of this event. Now I am willing to be a forever Bella who has positive attitude and I have to be a warrior now instead of being a worrier.

Hopefully I can still attend the next Belle De Jour Fair next year, wishing that it could be also near to my place and accessible. I want to bring my boyfriend next time since I know this is not strictly for girls only. I also want him to enjoy and listen to the inspiring words of other people. More so he could have a prize as well. 

The Powers of 3

Saved the date of September 1 to join the event of The Powers of 3. There is explanation behind the Powers of 3, it has something to do with math. But then since they are 3 siblings that their birthdays are just approaching with each other then the celebration was for 3 celebrants in 1 event. Emi is my God daughter while we have the same date of birth with Jamil and Jia the second child is the most unforgettable date of birth because she was born during the typhoon of Ondoy. 

Thankful enough that we weren't late when we entered the venue, it was fabulously colorful because of how it was set up and the theme was Sesame Street. There were playgrounds, how I wish I am still a kid so that I can get a long with them and play. Only my niece and nephew were the one who enjoyed the playground but I am happy to see them that they are playing. 

I also enjoy watching the games for kids which indeed I like the delivery of the host on how the activity became wonderful and fun. Even if I am a kid no more to be involved for this kind of activity then I wasn't that bored to see them enjoying. There are also games for adults which was question and answer about the title of the music during 80's. Good thing I was able to answer even my boyfriend got a prize as well. 

It really amazed me when I am carrying Emi my God daughter for being quiet all the time and she didn't even cry to look for her mom or her parents. Honestly I am not used to it because when I am carrying Apollo my nephew he keeps on moving and moving unless you have an Ipad that he can borrow from you so that he will be quiet. 

Mc Donalds Collectible Glasses

I've always been collecting glasses from Mc. Donalds which I am going to add Php 25 for every value meal. I've collected all colors in more than 2 or 3 sets so that I would still have another glasses in case this would be broken.

Magnum USB

The 7 eleven has a promo of Magnum saying "get this exclusive gift when you buy 12 Magnum bars" That is why I have no second thoughts of buying their products just to get the USB. I just asked helped from my boyfriend that he must also buy and eat Magnum ice cream for me to complete the 12. Since it is not for the single receipt then the only thing you can do is just collect all those receipt that you were able to buy Magnum Bars as long as it reaches the quantity of 12. When we already completed the receipt and we are about to claim it at nearest branch of 7 eleven where I worked then unfortunately there were no USB that left to claim then suddenly my boyfriend even told me that the receipt must be single receipt though he was told that the 7 eleven staff were informed too late so they still need to defend it. I told my boyfriend if he can claim it to other branches. The next day he is trying to surprise me though obviously I've noticed right away that he is about to make tricks but because he smiled I already caught him in the act that he already claimed the USB. Finally I have it already and I can use it like a little Magnum ice cream.  

Step Up Revolution

How are you going to protest or make a rally? Are you the one who always want to be involve in a rally that at times it can lead to violence. Have you ever join any rally or protest that in the end it has positive or good result because you convince people that you are against of their plans? 







I saw the trailer of this movie everytime I am watching other movies inside the cinema. I find it interesting because of the dance moves that at least I could relate since I am fan of hip hop dancing. I was able to watched this movie last week before attending the mass. When it comes to visuals, production, props and dance moves it was very impressive to have unique idea on how they are going to rally against the wealthy businessman who attempted to destroy the MOB's neighborhood just to build the hotel on their community that they are living. I was totally amazed that instead of making the usual protest that oftentimes it can lead to violence, they became innovative by dancing unique moves without anyone noticed who they really are. Even the businessman itself wasn't able to notice that his daughter was involved on that kind of protest. I also appreciate the background music and the creative idea of dance moves. The story is just the usual but then it was the visual that makes the whole movie very attractive. After all I enjoy and appreciate this movie that can also inspire everybody to dance. 

Experience of watching BOURNE LEGACY

About the Film 

          It was my first time to watch the Bourne Legacy and honestly I don't really know yet about this movie that there is even sequel about this movie. Not until of course we were updated that they are going to shoot here in Manila that is why I bothered to watch just to see how does our hometown look like on a hollywood film. We were able to watch the Premiere night at Mall of Asia because our parish offers a ticket that could be also fund raising at the same time so it cost Php 500 each. When the film had started, as usual I don't understand much and I find it difficult to comprehend the main point of the story though the thing that I got was about looking for the virus. When people hear the Manila Philippines, instead of clapping they just laughed on it. Now speaking of scenarios in Manila part I was able to identify which was the thing that I've witnessed during their shoot and realized that the places will be compiled and project as one place. I can determine which part of Jeremy and Rachel that it wasn't them but their double or stunt. I was totally amazed of how they have done in Pasay Rotonda because of the chasing scene that also involves the billboard. In fairness the Chowking was projected in long seconds, which is no doubts of it since I've also seen on how that place prepared food for the production staff. I was also amazed of the chasing scene in many parts of Manila.

The issue of Manila as stinky and ugly 

       Boy Abunda called Tony Gilroy as "walanghiya" due to the fact that he find it offensive on how the director described the Manila at stinky and ugly during the interview on BBC news. Although it was clarified that it was not an interview from BBC news but it was from the interview with Charlie Rose on Bloomberg TV's "Tonight". This was Tony Gilroy's exact statement from the interview 

“We didn' t want to go to Europe. Bourne had gone to Europe. We thought about Latin America, Southeast Asia, [but] there are [already] several films that were planning on going to Latin America. We went to Jakarta [Indonesia], we went to Ho Chi Min City [Vietnam], and we went to Manila and it felt so Bourne-ish. It's just so colorful and ugly and gritty and raw and stinky and crowded,"

      I believe this is not to criticized or complain about the negative side of Manila. Tony Gilroy is talking about the perfect venue for them to shoot which happens to be Manila as their choice. As he said it felt so Bourne-ish.  As many people also complained that the film only shown the ugly parts of Manila then I can't see the point because in the first place the film is not about showcasing the tourism in our hometown but this is just a film that is totally planned from their storyboard. Be thankful that they have chosen our place or country for the hollywood film. If you have watched the film and understand the story then would you expect Aaron and Marta to have accommodation in any 5 stars here in Manila? Then having their chasing scene at Luneta Park, Mall of Asia, Global City and Intramuros or even outside Malacañang? 

My Personal Involvement in Olympics

      Honestly before especially when I was a kid, I don’t really care about this Olympics because I am not into sports not until I learned swimming lesson it makes me decide to watch Olympics especially the swimming competition. The opening and closing ceremony of Beijing 2008 Olympics was very impressive that is why I have no second thoughts that I want to watch it live and tune in on swimming competition. That was the only time I knew Michael Phelps especially for having 8 gold medals or always winning as a champion in swimming. I was impressed and inspired of him since I can relate to him a bit, that is why I have no second thoughts to avail his book that is “No Limits, The Will To Succeed” using my overtime paid money. I have decided that on next Olympics I will be active in tuning in and watch the next competition rooting for Phelps. 

      Now in London Olympics 2012 I became more active that I am even catch the update regarding the exact time of the event that will be held. Expecting much that the London Olympics would be like in Beijing Olympics but then it was still comparable to admit the fact that the Beijing 2008 Olympics ceremony was far better. As I am rooting for Michael Phelps and other swimmers, I was diligent enough to wake up early in the morning just to witness the competition. After watching the competition I will sleep a little while then wake up to go in the office. Honestly it makes me dizzy and always sleepy because I really lacked sleep everyday just because of my choice to watch the swimming competition. The other side that I don’t like about is that the other schedule of the swimming competition is the time that I am going home so usually I am on the way while the competition is going on. When the London Olympics had closed then I really felt sad as I am going to miss the event and wait again for next 4 years to witness this competition.

           Since I've already knew that the opening ceremony of London Olympics 2012 will be 9:00 PM in London time it was started around 4:00 am here in the Philippines. Since I thought that is going to be 3:00 am then I've set my alarm around 2:30 am in order for me to tune in and wait for the opening ceremony since I really want to watch it live. So I tuned in it on CNN and BBC expecting that they are going to portray that live. 3:00 am there was still no updates or view so I slept for a while then my boyfriend called me checking if I am watching it already he told me that it will start at 4:00 am. So it is already 4:00 am and I am wondering how come the view of CNN and BBC news wasn't still inside the opening ceremony but then after an hour they just keep on updating what is going on inside the stadium. I mean arrggghhh!!!! That is already time I realize that they are not viewing the Olympics live but just an update. So good thing I've decided to change into other channels until it was Korean, our local and even National Delhi. I wasn't able to recognize that it was the live already because I just saw Mr. Bean or Rowan Atkinson performing thinking that it is just a program of his own. Only to realize that is already the live that I am looking for so I was totally disappointed that I missed 1 hour and more than 30 minutes of the scenarios. 

           When I am watching it I was expecting something more that it could be the same level as China but then as what I've seen it was like I am watching the preview of the movies before just like what you can see on Oscar Academy Awards during their event. It makes me think that there are some scenes that are not quite relevant to the Olympics. What I don't like as well is that they are still featuring the old versions of the movies though I have my second thought that they want to feature those films that came from that country. I was able to finish it though I was still looking forward for the replay. Good thing when I was already in the office I was able to watch the replay of the opening ceremony around 12 noon here in our country. Unfortunately I didn't know that the Solar Sports won't feature completely as there are some scenes that are already cut. So again I am looking forward not until they replayed it on AKTV. I saw everything though not 100% complete because I wasn't aware that it started again. That is the time that I already understand everything that it was about the evolution of what their country originated although again I am not that so totally attracted 100% with what I've seen. But in over all criteria I still appreciate their presentation but not the same level of my appreciation in opening and closing ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008. 

           There are some scenes that are obviously animated and edited but not that so big deal because I know how hard it is to make it smooth if you are rushing. I also appreciate the background music while the participants, representative or the game from different countries were already marching. Lastly I am still overwhelmed on how they present the fireworks as I really love watching it. 

         It makes me laughed when the Queen is not paying attention to the marching of her own country which was 12 seconds. Though not a big deal it was caught in the act by the camera then issued as fingering nails while the Great Britain is marching. 

           I was totally glad that I was able to see our country marching then our flag bearer had her tears of joy. Though my comment there is it was just seconds that I wasn't able to know who were the dignitaries like if that is ambassador, politician or anyone who stood up while our country is marching.

I am still PROUD of our Pinoy Olympians

         As we are hoping and aiming our athletes for gold, unfortunately it didn’t happen even single medal for bronze nor silver. But then I am still so proud of our athletes especially for a fact that being Olympian is not very easy, it is like taking up the UPCAT, studying in high end universities in the Philippines or even the well known schools around the world such as Harvard or Oxford. The fact that you reach to be qualified in Olympics it is like a scholarship that you already attained your greatest achievement in life. Not all people can have this kind of opportunity, which is why I hate it when I’ve heard that our country is a shame just because our athletes didn’t have any medals. Imagine this way, it is like you were embarrassed to your child who graduated in school or university, regardless if high end or low profile, or well known and not so popular, just because your child was not Valedictorian or didn’t received any kind of awards from school. Whereas a lot of people out there can't have the opportunity to study even if they have potentials at all. How would you feel if you worked hard to attain your goal then people won't appreciate your effort just because you weren't able to accomplish their expectations? 

          I am still optimistic with this kind of matter and it just came to my mind that it is not yet time for the Philippines. Just keep in mind that our athletes had worked hard just to reach their goal as what we are also doing with our chosen field. All we must do is to hope and pray for the improvement of their training, respect and think positive about them to encourage and motivate them more rather than putting them down and blame for what they have done. Remember this is very competitive activity that you must expect other people from another country can be extremely expert with the different sports that they had chosen. Take it consideration as well that something that can be really proud of with our Filipino athletes is that they still competed with pride and dignity without attempting to cheat, put themselves into big embarrassment and most especially without being accused of doping just to achieve their goal. Also remember that being an athlete especially Olympian is not always about having gold medals, it also teaches us the sportsmanship on how are we going to accept defeat in matured manner.

GoodBye to London Olympics 2012: Closing Ceremony

Since this is my first time to become involve in Olympics by tuning in and followed the series of Swimming, it is like saying a big goodbye to the Olympics when I’ve watched the closing ceremony. I woke up early in the morning around 4:00 here in Manila just to watch it LIVE even though I know it for a fact that there is still replay on night time. There are some parts that I bothered to sleep especially on the middle of the event when the singers performed that looks like just a concert. Honestly it bores me not until the Spice Girls came though I haven’t seen much their start since I was napping. There are also scenarios that are quite irrelevant to the Olympics just like the fashion that they are promoting and sometimes I find it dragging as well on how they execute the other parts of event. Nevertheless I still appreciate how it was done because of the fireworks, how they close the torch, and especially the promotion of the future Olympics in Rio 2016. I can’t still stop the feeling and thinking of the comparison of the opening and closing ceremony of London Olympics to Beijing 2008 Olympics. To be honest I was expecting so much more with London Olympics just because of what I have seen in China before on how fabulous it was that is far better than London Olympics. If there was no Beijing Olympics then probably I would appreciate much more this London Olympics. But then my mom told me that London is lack of budget that is why it is like that. Though I told her so that even if they are lacking of budget they can still do ways to make their performances to become presentable. Example the little introduction of Brazil, it is not so much fabulous but with their simplicity by presenting the culture it already gives the meaning of the Olympics on how they are willing to accommodate the athletes on 2016. After the program of the closing ceremony I can’t believe that I have nothing to watch nor follow the games especially in swimming. Wishing that on Rio 2016 we can travel there so that of course we will witness the Olympics personally.

The Victory of Michael Phelps as the greatest Athlete or a Swimmer

Another person who made his country proud to the nation that gives inspiration to the people in terms of motivating them in sports especially when it comes to swimming. I believe Michael Phelps deserves to be the greatest athlete because he may have the purpose in life that encourages people and children into swimming which is also important thing to learn in our lives in terms of survival purposes. He could be as well the mentor of the future swimmers that he will teach the different fundamentals of swimming. We can learn some basic in swimming and we don’t actually need to become the greatest swimmer like Michael Phelps. I already saw his website wherein he has his own swimming school that is also located in other parts of states such as Maryland and New York. If I am going to have a kid someday and there will be an opportunity to stay in USA then probably I want my future kid to enroll in the swimming school of Michael Phelps because I believe there will be another different techniques to learn. 

Now it makes me realized that I need to finished reading his book which was "The Will To Succeed" that will also give me inspiration and learn how he became a successful swimmer. 

Paolo Contis' Criticisms on PBB Teen#4 and MMK

The advantage of using the social media nowadays especially Twitter is that we can have an access to talk with many people including celebrities and other public figures. Many people would be able to read and see how the fans or admirers can be able to express their appreciation or admiration to their crushes and idols. The twitter is one of the sources in every issue about celebrities. Most likely it is about when people have read the negative or harsh comments of a public figure against another celebrity. It can be also when something strange happened to the celebrities like the couples were separated, divorced, celebrity fights and so on. Some people have the means to attack the celebrities that they don't like. Sometimes it can be something to ignore but there are times that it bothers the celebrities. 

         Browsing the facebook page on the usual Sunday afternoon, I've seen somebody posted regarding the criticisms of Paolo Contis about PBB Teen Edition #4 that was posted in Twitter last June 21.  Knowing the fact that he is an actor from the rival network GMA and watching a program from ABS-CBN then giving negative feedback about the show from the rival network, it is already understood that people would quickly react no matter if that is constructive or he has point at all. I believe he has the right and freedom to express what he wants regarding the show although he must be really aware about himself of being a public figure because he can't really avoid people who are sensitive and how they interpret each word that every celebrities stated on their post. The fact that twitter can be now seen by many people on how the celebrities converse to each other, then you wouldn't know that you are totally guarded by your fans, admirers, bashers, haters, gossipers and other people out there. I am not into taking sides but I hope Paolo would be careful in giving criticisms and his choices of words when he wants to give any feedback about the show especially from the rival network so that people won't give too much meaning about it. He could have express his negative criticisms privately not unless if he really wants media attention to become more popular, but then who knows? It is only an assumption. As for the viewers, witnesses, readers and twitter users, we really have to analyze and think before giving reactions quickly because there are times that you wouldn't know the consequences, sometimes it reflects in our personality on how we talk. On the other hand as what I've seen when somebody gave a reply to Paolo I think it is also harsh or foul and unfair at the same time of saying that he is a bobo because if you analyze his post it was not about referring a person but just the show itself. 

On the other hand as I observed to his tweets I believe he is sincere enough of having an appreciation of the story when he watched the Maalala Mo Kaya that was performed by Angel Aquino. I am not going to believe if he is playing safe already or having pampalubag loob because if you analyzed on how he posted he is just being fair in giving criticisms. I truly believe that he would give acknowledgement to the credibility of ABS CBN because remember he came from there for a fact that he is a former Ang TV kid and one of the cast of the original Mara Clara. Don't get me wrong I am not defending him because in the first place I've never been his fan. I am actually open enough to analyze his other side.

The Men's Health Guy: JOSEPH MARCO for July's issue. Still month of June excited much to grab a copy?

        Women and beckys are not the only people who has the right to buy this Men's health magazine of July 2012 issue. If you are a guy who wants to be like Joseph Marco's great body then you should buy his Men's Health magazine as your inspiration on how he works hard before he achieved his goal. Hey! don't ever hesitate and think that you are a gay just because you are going to buy a magazine that the cool dude is on the cover, the point here is you must be also open minded person just like Joseph. You would also learn how the young man became matured person in the sense of how he takes things seriously and grabbing every opportunity, you will realized how he deserves those blessings. Joseph is a kind of person who is sincere to influence other people especially for a fact that he is now aware of being a public figure. 

      On the cover itself, honestly I am not that attracted much with his facial expression here especially for a fact that I like the way he smiles in natural manner, but then of course I like how his great body appeared on the cover. Surprisingly if you are going to read and look inside then Joseph has great appeal. The article is not the usual compare on the other magazines in the sense that they are always indicating his outfit when he came before the photoshoot. It was creatively done that sometimes you really have to think.  

Meet the New Golden Boy: JOSEPH MARCO on Garage magazine June 2012

I don't really know what makes me interested to know him more but seeing him in some scenes of Sabel was not yet the right time for me to become his fan. Why should I care about him if his looks is just my concern? LOL! But on my research and self discovery about Joseph I have no second thoughts to become his fan.I have a good impression to him that he is down to earth and a sincere person to help other people. He is religious and spiritually matured who values the word of God and of course he has positive attitude who wants to motivate not just himself but other people as well. What can you learn more about Joseph Marco?  

         Attracted on his looks on the cover of Garage magazine, learned that Joseph is not a product of any reality show. He is totally blessed of great opportunity of being discovered by the owner of advertising agency at Eastwood Mall. Being an actor is not really one of his choices but he really wants to become a basketball player wherein Michael Jordan is his idol. Joseph is now taking things seriously and looking forward to become a best actor. I HOPE SO! I want my idol to be awarded as best actor in leading role. I am now decided to support his shows even a movie. Even the fact that he didn't really consider to become an actor but then he is still open minded person to take things seriously. No wonder he is good in acting skills because he is also getting ideas by watching different movies as part of his review. He is also matured enough to appreciate every opportunity. 

          I am actually hesitated to buy his magazine, well yeah I don't know why because my mentality was to meet him in person first and the usual that I must join his fans club to know him more. But then the fact that I am totally interested then I have no second thoughts for grabbing the Garage magazine. I have no regrets because he is grateful for those people who are supporting him. Knowing the fact that he has reliable account on twitter and he is also replying on people even strangers and acknowledging his fans I've decided to send him message on twitter too. Though when I've started to message him on twitter it was not about my appreciation to him as his fan but I asked him if I can copy his healthy recipe. Joseph allowed me to do so and he even told me not to put any seasoning so that the taste will be all natural. By the time I bought his magazine which was the one that he is wearing yellow coat I told him that I have it already. I was browsing his website then I've noticed that there was a content that is different from what I've seen on the magazine which I think that is just a dummy so that people won't be able to read it. Since he has another kind of cover then I decided to buy another one that I thought that is also different cover. Honestly of course I have regret on it but learn my lesson as well. I decided to send message to Joseph's twitter again but I never thought that he would be that apologetic which is he doesn't need to do so. 

Mirror Mirror on the Wall who's the Fairest of Them All?

How much do you believe that beauty is your power? Do you really have to put other people in harm in order for you to save your beauty? Can you imagine kissing the lips of a sorceress? Who would be the real love interest of Snow White?  

      My first time in my life of watching movie at the cinema alone just because I felt irritated during that time so I really want to unwind or relax. I decided to watched the Snow White and the Huntsman just because I was attracted to the trailer. Since I am more into visuals then it was easy for me to understand the whole story. This movie is not the usual as you can see based on the fairy tale or any cartoons. In the first place this is not Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. It explains why the sorceress values the beauty. What I like about this movie is that the betrayal of Snow White's step mother was different or unique, by the looks you will be fooled. However I am confused if who would be Snow White's love interest. But honestly I would like it if she would for William the childhood friend of Snow White. Some scenes are predictable but nevertheless I still enjoyed the show. For real if Ravenna only wants beauty then she must be a friend of  Dra. Vicky Belo nowadays but then she shouldn't betray or else her power will not work at all hahahha!!!! 

Because of the Half Price Frappuccinno in Starbucks it took me 1.5 Hours before I Claimed my Dark Mocha Venti

            After I went to job interview last Monday which was May 7 in Makati I am craving for something cold drinks that is also coffee. When I am about to ride a transportation along Ayala Avenue I just saw Starbucks in Security Bank Building. So I went there seeing that the line is not that terrible long especially when you are paying in cashier and I remember there is a promo that they are in 50% off when you buy drinks. I decided to order the Dark Mocha Venti which is Php185 for regular price but it became Php92.50 which is not totally bad. As I thought I could claim it like within 5 to 10 minutes I am hearing other people complaining that they finally claimed it after an hour or more. I keep on asking the barista if I can claim it already but he told me that is going to be so long since he have seen my receipt that my claiming time is 5:08pm. It was terribly long time that I waited for 1 1/2 hour just to claim my drink. I want to eat first but I am craving for Pizza Hut so it came to the point that I became hungry but not too much. I am hearing and seeing people on how they were dismay and being tempered of what happened. But I myself didn't attempt to be harsh because I understand the situation. It is hard that there were too many customers then the cups were lining up, it is not easy to mix ingredients in the first place. So of course I was patient for waiting since I am going home already and I don't have other appointments. I've seen a lot of people carrying by bags like they ordered 4 drinks which is the maximum limit for each customers.

    The advantage of catering services are hassle free from the preparation of the food and the set-up like tables with chairs and decorations. Some catering services are expensive even if with packages that are already in set but there are some  that are totally affordable. Usually when we want to celebrate our occasions most especially birthday parties we are not really hiring a caterer for a reason that it could be too much costs. But for now we’ve tried to hire a caterer for less hassle in food and set up preparation. So here we have chosen the BLUE PETALS Catering to make the event very special and memorable. I assure you this is the affordable price that YOU WILL NEVER REGRET.

     The packages of Blue Petals catering services is more affordable and worth the price that includes the set up of tables and chairs. Unlike in other caterers the package of getting Php 200 per head does not include the set up of tables but only for food. Blue Petals Catering is more budgeted compare it if you are going to celebrate birthday parties in fast food chains and yet the food menu are always limited into 2 to 3 dishes with our without dessert. What I like about this catering services is that they are professional enough in doing their job because at first they are punctual which is one of the most important factors when it comes to all party suppliers, they came to our home 2.5 hours before the event itself just to prepare. The event held around 4:00 pm but then they came around 1:30 pm for the set up. Even if they’ve already established for a long time and I know it for a fact that they’ve also done their services in big time occasions such as weddings, debut, birthday parties and other more events still I don’t feel anything that they are into profiling in the sense that they are humble enough to treat you properly no matter if you are rich, ordinary fellowmen or low profile. No matter also if you are celebrating your event in some big establishments, well-known venues, ordinary places or even at home. Because I’ve already heard the horrible story from our relatives regarding to what they’ve encountered to the other caterers during the wedding day of their relatives, they’ve experienced that they were not treated well or the caterer itself are into profiling just because the per head basis was Php 750 so the food served were not properly cooked and yet it was really degrading or insulting to the clients. Imagine for a cost of Php 750 per head which should be considered as luxury and must have good quality services they still have the guts to ruin your event?  Here in Blue Petals for the package of Php 200 per head the food menu is honestly the usual as you can also cook it at home or you can also order it in any carinderias or eatery in every corner of the street but this is entirely different when it comes to the quality of taste as you can think they have secrets to make it more delicious, unique taste and very special. You can't just imitate it. Not all caterers can make the usual food to special taste. Sometimes you may think that it is better that you should be the one to cook because you thought it is just an ordinary dishes. Remember the taste of spaghetti and fried chicken of Jollibee, Mc. Donalds, and KFC are all different. In Blue Petals the price is worth and I believe this is BIAS FREE!



Delightful Dishes 

        Imagine for Php 200 per head then these will be the dishes being serve. Again can you compare it if you plan to have a big party in any fast food chain? Not unless just because you want to provide for a mascot and give aways that has been packaged from them whereas you can still customized it when you are in budget. These are not the kind of food that you can also taste inside the food court of the malls or even other well known establishments. The point is to make it more delightful they won't cheat on the quality of the food especially if this is mass produce. The dishes are Baked Macaroni, Fish Fillet with Tartar Sauce, Fried Chicken with Gravy, Sweet and Sour Pork and the dessert was Fruit Salad. The drink being served was Iced Tea I just don't have an idea if that is really a bottomless or it was served many times as long as it is not yet finish.
                                                      

I am not really a fan of eating Baked Macaroni especially if that is homemade or to the extent that I am going to order it from any food court, canteen, fast food chains or even restaurants. I just don't like it but eating that because of being there. But eating Baked Macaroni that is being made by Blue Petals is different because I appreciate the balance of the cheese and tomato based. Unlike the other baked mac it is purely cheese that I can't even taste the tomato side of it. The cheese is not really melted at all though the tomato is still tasteful.

Crunchy Fish Fillet is also fresh and smooth that you would still feel it is newly cooked. I just can't describe the luscious taste of the Tartar Sauce because it attracts me for not being too sour and sweet. You would think that it is not just the mayonnaise but you know how they put an effort so that your tongue would want to ask for more sauce.

You don't need a sauce or even gravy to make this Fried Chicken more tasteful because for sure it will already make your happy meal complete when you are just eating the Fried Chicken itself. Crunchy soft and easy to bite.

Balance is always the right term for Sweet and Sour Pork and honestly I never thought that they can make the sauce more delicious. There are times when I am eating sweet and sour pork it is always been too sour that I would rather put ketchup on it or even sweet chili sauce to make my meal complete. I am totally impressed on how they mixed the sauce for the Sweet and Sour Pork. But I've still notice that the pork was not that soft to the extent that you need to chew that much. Not a big deal it can still improve for next time.

I am not totally impressed with their Fruit Salad because I am expecting a bit that they would put something extra ordinary to make it special. Honestly we can make better than what they've prepared. So when it comes to dessert like Fruit Salad maybe you would want to have taste test first unless you don't care about it at all. I still want them to improve this kind of dessert.

The food being served here is for 60 people which is good thing about it there's no less because everybody were able to full their tummies or too much for the left overs. Baked Macaroni was the only food that was left after the party. By the time we have eaten that the next day it was totally finished right away because we have also eaten that during the snack time. We are thankful that there were no food that has been wasted.



Services and Preparation 

 
      The Blue Petals were punctual enough by arriving around 1:30 PM here in Pasay City and started to set up the tables and chairs. When it was all done that is the time I observed how they prepared the materials and how it was done. I've seen some table mantels that are already dirty because of the paint but I won't consider that as very big deal. I appreciate the elegance on how the set up the tables and chairs with the flowers as part of simple centerpiece on the table. Though I have noticed that they put the table napkins on the goblet glass as the table napkin holder, it is not my type on how they do it but again it is not a big deal but I just don't find it that practical because usually we are using the goblets just for drinking.

I appreciate the hospitality of the waiters of how they became respectful or having strong sense of courtesy that they are sincere, patient and humble enough to serve other people. They are professional for the preparation and very efficient to work accurately.
