Birthday SPLASH!

It is getting hot in the Philippines as in hotter and hotter and hotter. That is why the most common activity that we are doing is going to the beaches and swimming pools for us to have refreshments inside our body. At least I felt that kind of hot temperature during the middle of April unlike last month that it is still raining to the extent that you can still tolerate the weather.

My nephew celebrated his 2nd birthday in Microtel of Pasay City branch which is near Mall of Asia. Since his birthday is on April 11 we celebrated it on April 8 which is the Easter Sunday until next day. This is not the party yet so only us as his family who were able to spent 1 night accommodation here. The celebration here was like slumber party wherein we have our own food such as spaghetti with grilled chicken and pork chop. After eating they were able to began their splash at the top of course where swimming pool was located. In our case we weren't able to swim during that day because we have attended the mass at Shrine of Jesus which is walking distance from Microtel. We had our swimming on the next day which was early morning around 7:00 wherein there were no other people yet so it was like the pool is ours. After 1 hour that is the time we get up when other people are already around. 

Microtel 

Melynn got it for discounted price, she was able to get the rooms that are adjacent to each other so it was an easy access that is hassle free to the extent not needing to knock on the other room just to enter, then at least it was like there were 2 bathrooms that we can use. The bedroom was totally clean and I like the set up of the bed including the design for the blanket. There is also an edge formed like a sofa type at the window so at least an extra person can sleep there with the pillow. The bed can be up to 3 persons. I appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom though I still have the comment in terms of accessibility of the trash can and in getting the toilet paper, but of course this is not really a major problem. Still they have good amenities with other accessories. Our view is on the bay side that is why we can see the beauty of the sea. 

The swimming pool is floating on the 12th floor, you can imagine it looks like the infinity pool of Marina Bay Sands that is located in Singapore. The difference is that here in Microtel it has the glass to protect because that could be more dangerous if there was no glass. Unlike in infinity pool there is no need for protection because it is not totally direct to the ground floor. I like the view wherein you can see the flyer while you are on the pool or at least at the rooftop of Microtel. So you can really imagine that you are in Marina Bay Sands that you can see the Singapore Flyer. That is what it comes to my mind when I went here.
