Do you really need to judge people who are not good in mathematics?
Do you always think people who are excellent in mathematics are always smart and intelligent?
Are you harsh when it comes to people who have forgotten the rules in mathematics?
Does it turn you off when other people are not good in mathematics even basic math?
I have seen the illustration below on facebook pages such as Just For Laughs and other fanpage. I believe this was really meant for fun but what happened here was different.
Just because of the simple mathematical equation people are becoming hostile in responding to this problem. The argument here was if MDAS rule is a must or anything multiplied by zero is always a zero. Now upon reading the comments of people I am really wondering that how come they can't be educated, matured or civil enough to remind other people of what they have learned during elementary days. How come they need to be harsh and throw below the belt comments just to prove what they believe is right. Or maybe they thought that putting down other people will make them great and smart but definitely they are wrong because it is a reflection that there is something wrong with a person's attitude or personality.
No wonder now why the world is always in trouble such as family, relationship or lovelife even married life because they can't even apply the simple GMRC or some other people are really failure in terms of communication that they don't want to understand each other. The first thing in their mind when communicating is to degrade other people or become hostile to prove themselves. I really find pity with all those people who can't be matured enough to defend what they believe is right. If they are projecting that they are intelligent and smart then they should act intelligently with dignity.
sometimes, insecure people project their anger by saying harsh words. so sad for them
ReplyDeleteExactly the point, it is like becoming their ego booster but they don't even think that it has bad effect for themselves.
DeleteI was never good in Math (okay I need to be fair to myself, I could do well in Math but I was too lazy and it didn't really interest me). Impressive academic background and a brain that could process mathematical problems in a jiffy are always good to have but having good manners is crucial.
ReplyDeleteI am certified math hater during school days to think that my Mom is a Doctorate in Math LOL! That is so weird for being totally exact opposite.
DeleteThat could be impressive for those people who are excellent in math but then if they don't have GMRC or they don't value the right thing then their excellence would be nothing. Or especially if they use that in wrong way especially in terms of money.
